Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports to the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), and other internal governance bodies on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Review new and amended legislation and regulations relating to banking compliance, communicating changes across the organisation and implementing necessary procedural updates.
  • Support the review and periodic update of the bank’s compliance risk management policy and related procedures to reflect current regulatory expectations and emerging risks.
  • Cooperate fully with regulators and law enforcement by providing requested documents, information, and assistance during investigations or audits.
  • Participate in AML, CFT, and CPF training programmes, system testing initiatives, and ad-hoc compliance projects as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Economics, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct banking experience in a compliance or risk management department, with demonstrated knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
