Key Responsibilities

• Execute deliveries while upholding the company’s standards for goods handling, pickup, and drop-off procedures.
• Maintain full accountability for goods in your custody from collection to final delivery point.
• Offload containers and cargo as required at delivery locations.
• Verify completed deliveries against order documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy state at all times.
• Follow assigned delivery routes within the scheduled timeframe without deviation.
• Record mileage, arrival and departure times, and delivery destinations in the vehicle movement logbook before each trip begins.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations or accidents according to company protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Completed KCSE certificate or an equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid driving license with a minimum of three years’ documented experience operating Canter trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness in previous roles.
• Meticulous attention to detail when handling documentation and performing vehicle inspections.
• Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to listen and follow instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of and commitment to transport and delivery company policies and procedures.
