About the Role

This internship in business analysis offers practical exposure to organisational transformation and change management within a global NGO setting. The Intern, Business Analysis at Save the Children will work within the Business Analysis and Business Architecture function, supporting senior analysts and transformation teams as they evaluate business needs, review workflows, and drive change initiatives across the organisation. You will act as a connector between business stakeholders and technical teams, managing requirements gathering, documenting processes, and contributing to solution design work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and record business requirements from stakeholders, create process maps and user stories, perform data analysis tasks, and produce project documentation to agreed quality standards.

  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and project delivery teams to integrate analysis findings into implementation work, supporting realisation of intended outcomes.
  • Assist in bridging communication between business and technical teams by translating requirements into formats suitable for solution design and development.
  • Support administrative coordination activities including meeting scheduling, document management, and stakeholder communication tracking.
  • Contribute to problem-solving discussions by applying analytical reasoning to understand root causes and assess process improvement options.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in International Development, Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated organisational ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks including administrative work, scheduling, and document handling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging positively with teams of varied backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaborative platforms such as SharePoint or Jira.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to think through structured problems with attention to logical reasoning.
  • Prior exposure to business analysis work through internships, university projects, or coursework in structured environments involving complex tasks is desirable.
  • Willingness to work within a global team, upholding organisational values, ethical standards, and collaborative practices across diverse teams.
