Accountant II at Kenya Education Network (KENET) – Kenya Education Network (KENET) Kenya Job Details
Main Purpose of the Job
The position will report to the Chief Accountant, offering critical support across various accounting and financial processes. These include transaction processing, treasury management, tax and legal compliance, budgeting, as well as statutory and management reporting. The role requires proficiency in accounting software applications and familiarity with ERP systems to ensure the smooth execution of financial operations.
Requirements for the Job
- The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from a recognized university. In addition, applicants interested in this position should have at least three (3) years’ progressive work experience as an accountant.
- The candidate should have current certifications in CPA (K) or ACCA and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, high ethical and moral standards and be capable of working in teams with limited supervision.
