Position 1: Battery Swap Executive

Job Purpose

As a Battery Swapping Executive, you will be responsible for charging and swapping batteries at the assigned stations, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide satisfactory customer service at the assigned swapping station, completing battery swaps within 2 minutes
• Report customer escalations to the supervisor promptly for resolution
• Report to the supervisor on station visits and any issues related to batteries, chargers, or safety materials
• Provide daily reports to the supervisor before and after duty, including attendance, power consumption, and shift summaries
• Monitor and report on battery requirements based on increased swaps
• Conduct daily quality checks on the station
• Assist customers with using the app for swapping and provide necessary tech support
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required based on work requirements

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Traits

• Education: KCSE/Vocational technical training or a related field
• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems is a plus
• Skills Required:

Position 2: Site Acquisition Lead

Job Purpose

The Site Acquisition Lead will play a crucial role in securing large sites for deployment of fast chargers and other swap stations in different territories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Source the best sites for swapping stations with high level of power connectivity
• Conduct market surveys on E-mobility
• Identify and secure potential sites based on company needs and market conditions
• Identify and manage swap station sites and power connectivity activities
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
• Negotiate with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms for site acquisition
• Conduct thorough inspections and investigations to assess the feasibility of sites
• Ensure adherence to zoning laws, regulations, and permits
• Communicate with and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and other partners
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and track progress on site acquisition projects

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Traits

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Purchasing and Supplies Management/Business Management
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in similar role
