Portfolio Analyst at Ecobank Kenya

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as required from time and also any other reports required by the ETI group, Ecobank Kenya Management or any other party. To ensure that the reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Attend to the various customer queries regarding Credit facilities within the agreed turnaround times.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly returns for CBK and or as and when required. To ensure that the reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Reconcile all the credit GL’s in the system with Finance and take up any issues arising from the differences in the minimum of monthly.
• Ensure that the coding of the provision GL is up-to-date.
• Prepare Board papers as and when required.
• Prepare and reconcile the IFRS impairment model on monthly basis.
• Prepare and submit reports on the bank and branch meeting of regulatory and group lending parameters.
• Respond to any balance enquires relating to credit facilities from RM/RO/Business.
•  Update the provision schedule from day to day.
• Prepare and consolidate any reports that may be required from time to time by audit whether internal or external.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly management reports.
• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly CBK reports.
• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Group reports.
• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly compliance reports including and not restricted to Portfolio at risk, Concentration limits, Provisions, GL reconciliation.
• Respond/Address customer queries within 24 hours of receiving the same.
• Attend to various queries from RMs/Borrowers including going through past records.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics
• Minimum 2 years banking experience.
