Bar Manager at PrideInn

Prideinn Flamingo is urgently seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join the Food and Beverage team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Anticipating guest’s needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Research on, and implementation of new international trends to set exceedingly expected standards within the industry.
• Implement and ensure the Company Health, Safety and Hygiene policy is always met.
• Establish per levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment.
• Be responsible for all beverage purchases, inventories, and stock levels within the operation.
• Regularly check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
• Review of sales and beverage costs for the previous day, Resolve discrepancies with accounting. Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, rectify any deficiencies.
• Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years relevant experience
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality
• Proven experience in Bar and Restaurant Management
• Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
