Laboratory Technologist at AAR Hospital – AAR Hospital Kenya Job Details

Job Purpose

Perform high quality analytical services in an efficient effective manner as per the department quality management system.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all Laboratory processes/procedures in accordance with ISO 15189, quality management systems.
• Familiarize and be updated with the requirements of all QMS implemented in the laboratory.
• Observe/comply with Health, Safety, and security requirements in the laboratory.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the laboratory manager or designee.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• BSc or Higher national Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with 2 years’ work experience.
• Registered by KMLTTB with a valid practicing license.
• Phlebotomy training will be an added advantage.
• Training and implementation ISO 15189 QMS will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies 

• Computer literacy.
• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Have good customer care skill/ experience.
• A good team player.
• Must be able to work in all laboratory sections.
• Integrity, truthfulness, and capability of using both hands.
• Willingness to learn complicated tests and develop in the career path.
