About the Role

ICEA Lion Group, one of East Africa’s largest insurance and financial services providers, is recruiting for a COP/ECOP Certified Insurance Sales Representative to join its Nairobi office. This is a full-time, onsite position that combines client-facing sales work with relationship management and technical insurance knowledge. You will represent the company to both prospective and established clients, translating their risk management needs into tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective and existing clients to promote insurance products and secure new business

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field; or HND; or Professional Certificate qualification
  • Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or Enhanced Certificate of Proficiency (ECOP) in insurance—mandatory
  • Demonstrated knowledge of insurance sales methods, contract negotiation, and sales strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex products clearly
  • Proficiency in analyzing customer requirements and matching them to appropriate insurance products
  • Capacity to work both as part of a sales team and independently to meet targets
  • Experience in a regulated sector is advantageous; familiarity with compliance and risk management frameworks is preferred
