About the Role
Centum is seeking a Sales Executive to join its team in Nairobi on a full-time basis. This Sales Executive at Centum position focuses on business development and client acquisition within the TRIFIC Special Economic Zone ecosystem. You will work to expand the client base, manage sales pipelines, and drive revenue growth through structured outreach and relationship building.
The role requires someone who can independently manage prospecting activities, nurture client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to bring new business through to completion. If you’re a recent graduate with strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal oversight, this could be the right fit for your early career in Sales & Marketing in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to prospects in the lead pipeline, deliver pitches on TRIFIC SEZ value, and schedule initial discovery conversations with potential clients.
- Build and maintain an active sales pipeline; generate regular reports on pipeline status and track engagement metrics to inform management decisions.
- Identify and approach potential clients across the corporate, SME, and international investor segments to increase adoption of TRIFIC facilities and services.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with both prospective and existing clients, offering solutions tailored to their specific business requirements.
- Represent Centum professionally across all business development channels and articulate the key benefits of the TRIFIC SEZ proposition to target audiences.
- Manage the full sales cycle through to deal closure and work with relevant internal departments to ensure seamless client onboarding and transition.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, set targets, and deliver results with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Organisational skills and the capacity to track multiple prospects and pipeline stages simultaneously.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and manage professional relationships at all levels.
- Recent graduate status preferred; willingness to learn and adapt to sales processes and TRIFIC SEZ offerings.
