About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collect and examine physical or scanned attendance records and supporting documentation submitted by programme teams.
- Input attendance figures and participant details into designated Excel spreadsheets and data tracking systems with precision.
- Cross-check all entered information for completeness and accuracy before datasets are finalised and submitted.
- Identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in data, then liaise with programme staff to clarify or correct unclear or incomplete entries.
- Manage confidential participant records according to safeguarding protocols and maintain strict data security throughout the entry process.
- Complete and deliver datasets within agreed timeframes to support monthly or periodic reporting cycles.
- Organise and file all source documents systematically once data entry work is concluded.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate qualification in Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working in data entry, administrative support, or record management roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula use, data organisation and template creation.
- Competence with Microsoft Word for document preparation and editing.
- Strong numeracy skills and an established track record of accuracy when handling numerical and textual information.
- Solid grasp of data protection principles and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all circumstances.
- Ability to take written and verbal instructions, ask clarifying questions when needed, and communicate findings to non-technical staff.
- Excellent organisational ability and time management skills to meet submission deadlines consistently.

- Work is assigned on a need-basis throughout the year, with tasks typically arising monthly depending on programme activities and compliance schedules.
- You will report directly to the Monitoring and Compliance Officer and the MERL Coordinator, who will provide guidance on data standards and timelines.
