About the Role

KCB Bank Kenya is recruiting for the Job Vacancies/Management Trainee Program 2026 at KCB Bank Kenya, a 24-month structured development initiative designed for recent graduates entering the banking sector. This is an internship-level position based in Nairobi that combines classroom instruction, hands-on experience, and executive mentorship to prepare participants for management-track roles within one of East Africa’s largest banking institutions. As a participant in the Job Vacancies/Management Trainee Program 2026 at KCB Bank Kenya, you will rotate through key banking functions and business units, gaining exposure to commercial banking, retail operations, risk management, finance, and technology. This is not a desk job—you will work on real projects that impact the bank’s operations and strategic objectives while developing the analytical, leadership, and technical skills required for senior positions in banking in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structured on-the-job training across multiple departments and banking functions to build practical knowledge of core operations
• Participate in classroom sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules covering technical banking competencies, compliance, and professional development
• Work on assigned projects that contribute directly to business unit goals and organisational growth initiatives
• Receive mentorship and coaching from senior KCB Bank Kenya executives and industry specialists to accelerate professional development
• Develop proficiency in critical leadership, analytical, and management competencies through structured learning and real-world application
• Engage with colleagues across functions to understand the full scope of banking operations and build cross-functional relationships
• Demonstrate initiative and quality delivery on assigned tasks while adhering to banking regulations and KCB policies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, Business-related field, or Law (admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya is an advantage)
• Graduation within the last two years from the date of application
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to work with data and financial concepts
• Sound numeracy skills and a working understanding of financial principles relevant to banking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work output
