About the Role

Generations Techzone is hiring an Account Assistant to join its finance team in Nairobi on a full-time basis. This is an accounting support role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month-end reporting. The Account Assistant at Generations Techzone will work directly with the finance department to ensure all daily accounting activities are completed with precision and integrity.

The successful candidate will handle transaction reconciliation, invoice management, and coordination with payroll and inventory teams. Key Responsibilities

• Record all daily sales and purchase transactions in the accounting system with complete accuracy
• Reconcile cash positions, bank statements, and M-Pesa payment records on a regular basis
• Process incoming invoices, verify supplier details, and manage payment scheduling
• Support payroll processing, statutory filing requirements, and compliance documentation
• Assist with inventory record management and reconciliation activities
• Prepare supporting schedules and data compilation for monthly financial reports
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• CPA Part 2 certification (advantageous)
• Demonstrated accounting knowledge with ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
• Meticulous attention to detail in all financial records and transactions
• High standard of personal integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
• Proven track record in an accounting assistant or similar finance support role
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
