About the Role

StainlessPro Industries Ltd is recruiting for a Driver to join their team in Nairobi on a full-time basis. This is a permanent position within the Driving & Logistics sector, offering a monthly salary between KSh 16,000 and KSh 30,000. The Driver at StainlessPro Industries Ltd will be responsible for safe vehicle operation, goods transportation, and maintaining compliance with traffic regulations across Nairobi and surrounding areas.

The role combines operational delivery with vehicle stewardship. You will manage company transportation assets, coordinate with logistics teams, and ensure that all shipments and personnel reach their destinations on schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and in full compliance with local and international traffic laws.
• Transport goods, equipment, and staff to assigned locations punctually and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, documenting any defects or maintenance needs.
• Select and follow optimal route plans to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery windows.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo, ensuring proper handling and safe storage during transit.
• Maintain detailed records of mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle servicing activities.
• Coordinate with the logistics team on scheduling and transportation workflow optimization.
• Report all accidents, injuries, traffic infractions, and safety incidents to management and relevant authorities.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean and in good working order at all times.
• Verify that vehicle documentation—including driving license, insurance, and registration—remains valid and current.
• Display professional conduct and courteous service when dealing with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Adhere to company safety protocols, emergency procedures, and code of conduct policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Kenyan driving license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
• Proven experience in commercial or goods transportation driving.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Knowledge of Nairobi road networks and local traffic conditions.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
• Familiarity with cargo handling, load securing, and vehicle safety standards.
• Competency in maintaining logistical records and fuel documentation.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it is an advantage.
