This is a role for someone who thrives managing multiple moving parts simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Lead, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain monthly content calendars covering social media, website, email newsletters, and community communications.
  • Manage Ikigai’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and responding to member inquiries across all platforms.
  • Maintain paid advertising campaigns by updating creative assets, monitoring spend, and ensuring ad content remains current and relevant.
  • Monitor and analyse engagement metrics and campaign performance, providing monthly reports with insights and key performance indicators to leadership.
  • Update website content to reflect changes in products, pricing, membership offerings, and operational information.
  • Coordinate with external partners including photographers, videographers, designers, and printers to produce marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Support the Events and Community teams by ensuring clear communication around events, membership updates, and community initiatives across all channels.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Public Relations, or related field. A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or brand management.
  • Demonstrated expertise with SEO, PPC campaigns, analytics platforms, content creation, and campaign management.
  • Proficiency in design software including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects.
  • Strong experience with WordPress content management and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain consistent tone and messaging across all channels.
  • Highly organised with strong time management abilities, capable of prioritising multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, analytics, social media marketing, content marketing, or communications are advantageous.

What to Expect

  • A role that demands both creative thinking and attention to detail — you’ll be responsible for everything from campaign strategy to day-to-day social media management and data tracking.
  • A team-oriented environment where collaboration across departments (Events, Community, Operations) is essential, but where you’re also expected to own projects independently and deliver results.
  • Consistent exposure to performance data, member feedback, and market research — this is a data-informed role where insights drive decision-making.
