Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new revenue streams by identifying emerging market opportunities and executing targeted outreach campaigns to corporate clients, property developers, systems integrators, and public institutions
  • Cultivate a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects, tracking each opportunity through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure using disciplined sales methodology
  • Conduct discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their infrastructure challenges, then architect tailored ICT and ELV solutions that address their specific operational requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, manage tender responses, and negotiate commercial terms to win competitive bids across the East African region
  • Expand existing customer accounts by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, deepening relationships with key stakeholders, and securing contract renewals and expansions
  • Partner with technical teams and project managers to ensure accurate solution design, timely delivery, and exceptional client satisfaction throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Track market intelligence including competitor pricing, emerging technologies, and customer demand signals to inform strategic positioning and identify white-space opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining detailed forecasting and regular performance reporting to senior management

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in ICT systems, ELV solutions, infrastructure services, or comparable enterprise technology environments
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, network infrastructure, security solutions, and how these integrate into comprehensive business technology strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translate customer needs into solution specifications, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
  • Excellent presentation and proposal-writing skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to C-level executives and procurement teams
  • Self-motivated, target-driven professional with a track record of exceeding sales quotas, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and thriving in competitive environments
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools; experience with project management systems is advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Kenya to meet clients and attend industry events
