Role Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by recruiting new members, promoting the Sacco’s products and services, achieving monthly sales targets, managing client accounts, supporting loan portfolio growth, retaining existing members, and preparing accurate sales reports.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities by sourcing quality prospects and converting them into active members
  • Develop and implement action plans to expand into new markets and increase market share
  • Promote and sell products and services to both new and existing clients using a relationship-based approach
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product presentations to clients
  • Achieve assigned sales targets based on set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, outreach programs, member education sessions, and sales campaigns
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports through established reporting systems
  • Execute sales activation activities while ensuring compliance with KYC and due diligence requirements
  • Drive growth in deposits and revenue through effective product and service sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering product information, after-sales support, and financial guidance
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend product improvements or new offerings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Cooperative Management, or a related field
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and professional sales/marketing certifications will be an added advantage

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presentation
  • High level of drive, initiative, and networking ability
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals

Experience

  • At least one year of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within the banking or insurance sector
