About the Role

Ital Global is recruiting a Waitress – Nairobi to join their hospitality team in Nairobi. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive customer service and establish a welcoming atmosphere for all dining guests
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them to guests in a timely manner
• Suggest menu items, bakery products, and current promotions to increase sales and enhance the guest experience
• Operate point-of-sale and ERP systems to record orders and process customer payments correctly
• Uphold cleanliness standards in dining areas, manage food safety protocols, and maintain personal hygiene throughout shifts
• Arrange and refresh product displays to ensure they are visually appealing, well-stocked, and properly presented
• Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
• Complete opening and closing procedures according to company protocols and standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Service, or a related qualification
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience working as a waitress in a bakery, café, restaurant, or similar hospitality establishment with a solid reputation
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
• Professional appearance and grooming standards with a courteous and positive demeanor
• Capability to work efficiently and remain organised in a high-volume, fast-paced service environment
• Proficiency with point-of-sale and ERP systems (preferred but not essential)
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with strong time management skills
