Purpose of the Job
Provide a range of appropriate methods of teaching and assessment to demonstrate clinical learning opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities are:
- Deliver lectures as part of a formal curriculum and host tutorials and other small group teaching.
- Engage in the assessment of students and assist with the preparation of clinical case material.
- Utilize a range of appropriate methods of teaching and assessment to demonstrate clinical learning opportunities.
- Provide direct assistance in the use of equipment, learning objects, and materials needed for student success
- Instruct and supervise students in the programmers of the College in the relevant clinical subject area.
- Provide academic counseling and advice to students.
- Setting tests and evaluating practical skills
- Prepares timetables and Instruction materials
Knowledge and Skills Required:
The jobholder must possess;
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Must have served as a Tutor for a minimum period 2 years
- Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages
- Should have strong analytical and be result oriented
- Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice
