Role: Fuel and Oil Delivery Driver

Job Purpose:

As a Fuel and Oil Delivery Driver, your main responsibility is to ensure the safe loading, transportation, and delivery of petroleum products to clients on a scheduled basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role encompasses:

• Loading and unloading petroleum products efficiently.
• Driving the truck to deliver petroleum products to customer locations.
• Monitoring and accurately recording all meter counts.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Preparing a daily report of loading and delivery activities.
• Performing basic truck repairs when necessary, combining driving with mechanical skills.
• Offering support to plant operations when not engaged in driving.
• Undertaking any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum age of 25 years, with a verifiable work history.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic rules, especially those pertaining to trucks.
• Preferably male candidates, well-acquainted with the routes in the Nairobi region.
• A valid driver’s license, EPRA License, and national ID.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience driving petroleum trucks.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Initiative to secure bulk delivery clients.
• Proficiency in reading the rotor gauge.
• Sound understanding of safety precautions associated with handling Petroleum Trucks and their cargo.
