Position: Digital Marketing Manager – Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club

Role Overview:

As the Digital Marketing Manager, your role involves overseeing and enhancing the digital marketing ecosystem of Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. Your primary objective is to execute the communication strategy outlined by category managers, focusing on various stages of the customer journey in both local and international markets. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire digital strategy, coordinating with other managers, identifying digital touchpoints, supervising content development, and ensuring effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role includes:

  • Managing and developing the digital marketing ecosystem to align with the communication strategy.
  • Overseeing all aspects of digital strategy, including owned and paid media.
  • Collaborating with revenue and social media managers for cohesive omnichannel execution.
  • Identifying relevant digital touchpoints and supervising content strategy.
  • Developing and updating websites with accurate information.
  • Creating digital media campaigns for local and international markets.
  • Implementing Accor Digital Strategy components to maximize online exposure and retention.
  • Setting objectives and KPIs aligned with business goals.
  • Analyzing and reporting ROI and other relevant data for optimization.
  • Proactively identifying advertising and digital opportunities.
  • Coordinating with the Departmental Manager for impactful digital actions.
  • Analyzing and reporting on digital media trends in the hotel industry.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record as a digital marketing specialist for a brand, with at least five (5) years of experience, preferably in the luxury or travel industry.
  • A degree in Marketing and Communications.
  • Creativity and the ability to approach challenges innovatively.
  • Comfort working in an inspiring, luxurious, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as other relevant applications like Photoshop, video editors, and Canva.
  • Experience in creating effective social media content briefs.
  • A talent for storytelling through existing or new impactful content.
  • Versatility in communicating with various audiences, from corporate to leisure guests and partners.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of local and international social media platforms.
  • The ability to collaborate successfully with internal and external stakeholders of varying positions.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance assessment.
  • A data-driven and result-oriented mindset, with proficiency in KPIs and conversion goals.
