Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Deliver Outstanding Patient Care: Ensure an amazing patient experience by collaborating with clinical officers to ensure safe and efficient use of pharmaceutical products. Your empathetic approach will make patients feel heard and valued.
  • Manage Pharmacy Operations: Maintain a high standard of drug storage, cost-effectiveness, and cleanliness in medicine storage areas. Your responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, checking expiration dates, and conducting stock take in accordance with protocols.
  • Collaborate as a Team Player: Uphold infection-control policies, stay updated with industry changes, and contribute to the overall medical center team. Your involvement extends to patient experience, community outreach, and promoting Penda’s services.
  • Ensure Punctuality and Open Communication: Be reliable and punctual in your role. If you encounter scheduling conflicts, communicate promptly with your manager. Embrace feedback from colleagues and offer constructive input when necessary.
  • Qualifications and Attributes:
    • Hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology and possess a valid license.
    • Have at least 2 years of experience in health or community-related work.
    • Display strong patient interaction skills.
    • Exhibit teamwork and a results-driven attitude.
    • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Possess general computer proficiency.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
