About the Role

Denri Africa is recruiting a Shop Assistant for their bag retail store located on the second floor of Star Mall along Tom Mboya Street in Eldoret. This is a full-time position in the customer service sector, where you will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the store. The successful candidate will combine sales floor expertise with operational efficiency to support daily business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and professional service to customers, answering product questions and explaining promotional offers
• Execute in-store promotions and sales activations to boost transaction volume and customer engagement
• Process M-Pesa mobile payments and card transactions accurately through the POS system with minimal errors
• Receive incoming stock shipments, track inventory levels, and submit replenishment requests when stock runs low
• Maintain precise records of daily sales and prepare regular sales reports for management review
• Ensure the store floor remains organized and product displays are maintained throughout each shift

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience working in retail environments or customer service roles
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse customers
• Demonstrated reliability, organizational ability, and capacity to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of POS systems and comfort with basic sales reporting tasks
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and rotating shifts as operational needs dictate
