Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting team.
  • Support the accurate recording of revenue transactions in compliance with the county policies.
  •  Assist in reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
  • Assist in monitoring key revenue metrics and preparing analysis for management.
  • Support revenue forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests related to revenue.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support to the revenue accounting team as needed.

Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in accounting, finance, Business Management or related field. CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in revenue accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of revenue collection principles
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex revenue transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm or technology industry is a plus.
