Position Overview
As a Receptionist at Tamarind Village, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm and welcoming experience. Your role will involve handling inquiries, and reservations, and ensuring that our guests’ needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at Tamarind Village.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hospitality industry and Tamarind Village in particular.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing reservations, handling phone calls, and keeping records.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is an added advantage, as it will enhance guest interactions.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent customer care skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in a foreign language (added advantage).
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional appearance and behavior.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems is a plus.
