Primary Responsibilities:

  • Requesting quotations from various suppliers as needed.
  • Analyzing quotations received from different suppliers to identify the most competitive price offers.
  • Reviewing quotations and consistently following up with suppliers.
  • Conducting email communication with suppliers, primarily related to quotations and negotiations.
  • Collecting quotations from suppliers and making informed decisions on purchases, considering both price and quality.
  • Collaborating with shipping companies for import and export operations.
  • Procuring necessary office supplies.
  • Maintaining office inventory.
  • Coordinating the receipt of purchased goods in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Distributing materials required by technicians.
  • Managing stocks effectively.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in supply chain management within a fast-paced organization.
  • Proven track record in Procurement Operations.
  • Membership in the Kenya Institute of Supply Management (KISM).
