Primary Responsibilities:
- Requesting quotations from various suppliers as needed.
- Analyzing quotations received from different suppliers to identify the most competitive price offers.
- Reviewing quotations and consistently following up with suppliers.
- Conducting email communication with suppliers, primarily related to quotations and negotiations.
- Collecting quotations from suppliers and making informed decisions on purchases, considering both price and quality.
- Collaborating with shipping companies for import and export operations.
- Procuring necessary office supplies.
- Maintaining office inventory.
- Coordinating the receipt of purchased goods in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Distributing materials required by technicians.
- Managing stocks effectively.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in supply chain management within a fast-paced organization.
- Proven track record in Procurement Operations.
- Membership in the Kenya Institute of Supply Management (KISM).
