Solvo Global is recruiting a Patient care representative in Nairobi to join its customer-facing healthcare support team. This full-time position requires someone who can manage patient interactions with professionalism while adhering to strict medical compliance standards. You’ll work onsite and handle the complete patient journey from initial contact through appointment scheduling and follow-up communication.
The Patient care representative at Solvo Global role sits at the intersection of healthcare administration and customer service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring patients receive timely, courteous assistance while maintaining the accuracy of their medical records and personal information. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive and empathetic support to patients across phone, email, and other communication channels
- Manage appointment scheduling, calendar coordination, and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed
- Record and verify patient information accurately within EHR/EMR systems
- Process patient calls and email inquiries with efficiency and professionalism
- Confirm patient eligibility, identity, and pre-appointment requirements before clinical visits
- Address patient complaints and concerns using a patient-centered approach to resolve issues
- Work alongside clinical staff and administrative teams to coordinate care and resolve operational issues
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of direct experience in a call centre or customer service environment (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and medical appointment scheduling software (preferred)
- Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare settings (preferred)
- Fluent verbal and written English at C1 level or higher (mandatory)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities when handling difficult conversations
- High degree of accuracy in data entry and record management
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and perform under pressure
