About the Role

Poa Internet is recruiting an OSH Intern to join its team in Nairobi on a full-time basis. This internship programme provides hands-on exposure across operational, safety, and health functions within a telecommunications and internet services company committed to expanding connectivity across Kenya and the wider region. You will work alongside experienced professionals to understand departmental workflows, organisational standards, and best practices in occupational safety and health management.

The OSH Intern at Poa Internet will gain practical experience through structured mentoring, departmental participation, and project-based learning. Key Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from staff members across departments to build knowledge of methods, procedures, and operational standards relevant to organisational functions.
• Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions, and travel to operational sites as required to gain practical work experience.
• Support departmental operations and related business functions by assisting with assigned tasks and contributing ideas aligned with departmental objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline; recent graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and articulate suggestions effectively.
• Strong research capabilities and demonstrated commitment to quality work and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an advanced level.
