Open Positions
Mechanic Assistant II
- Support vehicle and motorcycle maintenance activities across the water authority fleet
- Perform routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on mechanical equipment

ICT Assistant II
- Provide first-line support for computer hardware and network infrastructure

Water Production Assistant II
- Support water treatment and production processes at treatment facilities

General Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: Successful candidates must hold either a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade D+ for the Mechanic Assistant II role, or a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Water Technology/Engineering, Business Administration, Public Relations, or Paralegal/Law from a recognized institution depending on the position applied for.
- Professional Certifications: Relevant craft certificates or professional qualifications are required—examples include Automotive or Mechanical Engineering certifications (Mechanic Assistant II), Networking or A+/N+ certifications (ICT Assistant II), or Paralegal Diploma in Law (Legal Services Assistant II).
- Work Experience: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of one year of relevant hands-on experience in their field. For technical roles, this includes vehicle maintenance, ICT support, or water production operations; for customer-facing roles, customer service or administrative experience; for legal roles, paralegal or legal support experience.
- Constitutional Requirements: All candidates must meet the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, particularly for the Legal Services Assistant II position.
- Employment Type: All five positions are full-time, permanent roles within Government positions at NYEWASCO in Kenya.
