Key Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties using proper procedures, cleaning supplies, and maintenance equipment in accordance with facility standards.
• Operate and maintain assigned cleaning equipment including floor buffers, carpet cleaning machines, vacuum cleaners, and related tools.
• Transport and position loaded carts and materials throughout the facility, managing physical demands including lifting, bending, crawling, and reaching as required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors, asking clarifying questions when needed to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
• Communicate effectively in English regarding daily work assignments, safety protocols, facility access, and general facility matters.
• Complete all mandatory safety training and equipment operation courses before commencing work duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning supplies, and standard maintenance equipment.
• Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaning machines, and vacuum cleaners.
• Physical capability to lift loads up to 50 kilograms, push loaded material carts, and perform repetitive bending, crawling, and reaching movements.
• Functional English proficiency for understanding instructions, participating in video-based training, and discussing safety and security matters.
• Capacity to follow both verbal and written instructions with attention to detail and willingness to clarify expectations when uncertain.
• Completion of required safety training and equipment usage certification prior to work commencement.
