As a Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing priorities with your supervisor and following the established call cycle.
- Discussing special instructions, product promotions, new items, and price changes.
- Recording and inputting data accurately using Hand Held Terminals (HHT), while maintaining data integrity.
- Visiting modern trade outlets and General Trade outlets to maintain customer relationships.
- Addressing store inquiries, responding to special requests, and describing product features.
- Achieving set sales targets consistently.
- Collecting sales orders from outlets on a daily basis.
- Organizing store shelves by arranging product displays, removing damaged or expired items, and ensuring optimal product placement.
- Monitoring and replenishing inventory by restocking shelves, prompting reorder when inventory is low, and handling damaged product returns.
- Following layout and theme guidelines as per the plan.
- Maintaining the required minimum number of stores.
- Focusing on customer/client satisfaction.
- Managing shelf health and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
What are we looking for? To be eligible for this role, you should possess:
- 0 – 1 year of experience in retail outlet merchandising.
- O level Certificate/KCSE Certificate.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong time management abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
- Keen attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Interpersonal skills.
