Merchandiser at Shalina Healthcare (5 positions)

Job Purpose

We are looking for five (5) merchandisers to be based in various Retail Stores within Nairobi to ensure a perfect representation of our products and create an experience that delivers on Shalina’s brand promise on shelf.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relationships by visiting modern trade outlets, answering their questions and describing product features.
• Ensure well maintained store shelves by observing displays of company products; removing damaged or outdated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
• Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory; observing inventory levels; prompting supervisors to reorder when levels appear low; arranging for return of damaged products.
• Observe layout and themes according to the plan.
• Ensure shelf health and proper administration of the minimum number of stores assigned.
• Work closely discussing special instructions with the supervisor on product promotions, new products, and price changes.

Qualifications and requirements

• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
• Diploma/Certificate in any relevant field.
• Proven Merchandizing experience of at least 1year in retail outlets.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
