Salary Range: KSh 50,000 – KSh 100,000/month

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to attract new patients and retain existing ones in the oncology and cancer care sector.
2. Collaborate with the hospital’s leadership team to define marketing objectives, set budgets, and establish measurable goals for desired outcomes.
3. Conduct market research to identify patient demographics, referral patterns, and competitors’ marketing strategies, informing the development of effective campaigns.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations to generate referrals and foster partnerships.
5. Organize and participate in healthcare conferences, community events, and outreach programs to raise awareness about the hospital’s oncology services and educate the public on cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
6. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in oncology marketing and the healthcare industry to ensure the hospital’s competitiveness and innovation in marketing strategies.
7. Collaborate with internal teams (physicians, nurses, administration) to gather insights, create marketing materials, and align strategies with the hospital’s goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in healthcare marketing, specifically in oncology or cancer care settings, with a track record of successful campaigns and measurable results.
• In-depth understanding of the oncology healthcare landscape, including patient journeys, medical terminology, and key stakeholders, to develop targeted marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive content and deliver compelling presentations.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing ideas.
