Join our engineering team as a Hardware Lab Technician! At KOKO, our network hardware facilitates smart delivery of fuel and other products through a unique last-mile distribution network for our customers. As part of the Hardware Quality Assurance team, you’ll play a vital role in testing and analyzing electrical, electronic, and mechanical sub-systems related to KOKO hardware products in a lab environment.
Lab Technician Role:
- Build, maintain, and monitor custom test rigs while carefully tracking test execution.
- Provide well-documented test results and conclusions to support quality assurance efforts.
- Collaborate with QA Test Engineers to convert test plans into scheduled test executions.
- Debug and analyze data sets generated from tests to identify issues and validate designs.
- Work on developing new tools and test rigs for test automation.
- Embrace best practices and continuously improve your quality assurance skills.
- Spend time in the field as needed to gain insights for simulating real-world scenarios in the lab.
- Help foster the engineering culture at KOKO by supporting fellow engineers and promoting best practices.
What you’ll bring to KOKO:
- A Degree or Diploma in a hardware engineering field (electronics, mechanical, or embedded software).
- Experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes for debugging mixed signal systems.
- Solid maintenance skills, including soldering, wiring, and general assembly.
- Proficiency in prototyping with development kits like Arduino or Raspberry Pi, including basic software development (preferably in C/C++ & Python).
- Excellent documentation and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- An effective communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Nice to have:
- 1-2 years of industrial experience.
- Knowledge of automated dispensing systems designed for liquids and solids.
