Junior Web Developer at Wenamax – Wenamax Kenya Job Details
We are hiring a full-time entry-level Junior Web Developer based in Ongata Rongai (for a three-month contract). You will handle both front-end and back-end web development, focusing on WordPress and custom site creation. Your key responsibilities include building responsive designs, ensuring website performance and availability, and managing CMS technical aspects. You will work closely with the design team to deliver scalable, high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress and custom websites
- Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces
- Optimize website performance and ensure uptime
- Manage technical CMS configurations and updates
- Collaborate with design and development teams on project delivery
Qualifications
- Proficient in back-end development (PHP, MySQL, etc.)
- Skilled in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootsrap, JavaScript) and responsive design
- Experience creating WordPress themes and plugins
- Understanding of web development best practices and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Must be located within Ongata Rongai.
