Junior Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Junior Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of technical and operational projects to ensure timely delivery, compliance with governance standards, and effective collaboration across internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring activities are completed on schedule and within scope.

• Assist in preparing project charters, work plans, risk registers, progress reports, and documentation.

• Track project milestones, follow up on action items, and update project management tools such as MS Project and NetSuite.

• Coordinate logistics planning and support vendor engagement under supervision.

• Prepare meeting agendas, capture minutes, and track action points from project and stakeholder meetings.

• Support routine client communication and escalate risks, issues, or delays to the Project Manager.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to support project delivery.

• Track vendor deliverables and support verification of service level agreement compliance.

• Ensure adherence to project governance, processes, and reporting standards.

• Contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and performance monitoring activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field.

• CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation certification is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and willingness to learn MS Project.

• Experience or familiarity with NetSuite is an added advantage.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, telecoms, IT, or engineering environments.

• Basic understanding of network technologies such as fibre, IP, Ethernet, DWDM, SDH, or related systems is desirable.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to interpret data from multiple sources.

• Professional integrity, teamwork orientation, and a client-focused mindset.
