Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key duties:

Purchases & Sales Administration

  • Providing support to the commercial team in managing trade positions.
  • Handling profit and loss (PnL) reporting.
  • Contributing to market reports and market analysis.
  • Interacting with clients to some extent.
  • Collaborating with other LDC trade cycle support functions to ensure optimal execution and delivery.
  • Assisting in the recovery of accounts receivables.
  • Monitoring port lineups.
  • Acting as a trading assistant, including contract administration.
  • Developing and monitoring Regional Food Balance Sheets.


  • Knowledge of commodity trading is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulation/models), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of macro and microeconomics is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Efficient and accurate work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn on the job, adapt to a steep learning curve, and take on new work scopes.
