Company Overview EverComps Technologies Ltd is a rapidly growing company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We specialize in supplying and selling high-quality and original laptops, laptop parts, and laptop accessories. As we expand our operations, we are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our finance team and fill the position of Junior Accountant.

Roles and Responsibilities As a Junior Accountant at EverComps Technologies Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supporting Day-to-day Accounting Operations: Assisting in the day-to-day accounting activities, such as processing invoices, recording transactions, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
2. Maintaining Accurate Financial Records: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data entry, reconciling accounts, and performing regular audits of financial records.
3. Assisting with Accounting Projects: Collaborating with the finance team to support various accounting projects, including data analysis and financial research.
4. Assisting in Monthly Closing Procedures: Assisting with month-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
5. Preparation of Financial Statements: Working closely with the finance manager to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

1. Educational Background: A CPA, Degree, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Attention to Detail: Demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
3. Accounting Software Knowledge: Proficiency in using online accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
