Warehouse Supervisor – Job Description

Role Purpose:

The main responsibility of the Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee and manage the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and optimizing warehouse space utilization. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor will lead and support a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities, including task assignments, performance monitoring, and feedback provision.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper stock levels.
  3. Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  4. Coordinate outbound shipments and deliveries, including picking, packing, and loading of goods for timely and accurate dispatch.
  5. Implement safety procedures and regulations to create a secure working environment for the warehouse team.
  6. Optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  7. Train and develop warehouse staff on proper procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

  10. Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, including regular maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2-4 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software (e.g., MS Office, inventory management software).
  • Physical stamina for lifting heavy objects and working in a demanding environment.

Warehouse Manager – Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations within Gilanis Distributors Limited. This includes ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the warehouse, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in managing resources, optimizing operational procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  2. Monitor and manage inventory levels for accurate stock control and timely replenishment.
  3. Coordinate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  4. Optimize space utilization and layout within the warehouse for maximum efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with procurement and planning teams to optimize stock levels and ensure timely product availability.
