About the Company: A technology firm located in Nairobi is currently searching for an IT Projects Officer to join their team. The role encompasses aiding in the execution of the company’s IT projects and contributing to business growth. The desired candidate should possess technical expertise and practical sales experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all activities related to IT projects.
• Oversee designated IT projects to ensure they remain within budgetary and scope limits.
• Generate project-related documents, including project proposals, technical manuals, operator guides, and comprehensive progress reports tailored to individual clients.
• Identify potential risks and issues that could impede project progress, and devise appropriate solutions.
• Develop, update, and refine proposals for allocated projects, outlining project goals and strategies.
• Strategize, blueprint, and schedule the various stages of project implementation and evaluation.
• Verify the smooth operational flow and efficiency of all systems before initiating implementation.
• Construct a detailed project schedule and closely track deadlines for each project task.
• Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the transition from sales to the projects unit.
• Coordinate with the head of the technical department to allocate engineers for implementing solutions in upcoming projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the office, ensuring effective communication.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a field related to Information Technology.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically within the realm of IT projects.
• Ideally, exhibit proficiency in business development and exhibit adeptness in client retention.
