IT Officer at Safal Group

Position Summary:

The primary goal of this position is to provide support and administration for MRM’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) infrastructure. This encompasses managing hardware, network components, server, and desktop systems, as well as applications. The role’s focus is on ensuring high availability and security for the business applications that are supported.

Key Areas of Performance:

1. Oversee the MRM ERP hardware and related connectivity environment.
2. Ensure the effective delivery of IT services by optimizing the support and administration of the IT infrastructure.
3. Lead the ICT Support Team to provide strong, top-quality IT support services.
4. Implement innovative solutions for desktop and server environments using industry best practices to meet company objectives.
5. Adhere to established IT policies and contribute to the development and upkeep of procedures and guidelines in alignment with these policies.
6. Safeguard data integrity and security by monitoring security appliances, conducting backups, and mitigating virus threats.
7. Assist the IT Officer in various ERP business support tasks during their absence.
8. Propose, schedule, and execute software and hardware enhancements, upgrades, patches, and reconfigurations as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• IT Technical Certification such as CCNA/N+.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP Management/BASIS.

Required Experience:

• General work experience: Minimum of 5 years.
• Specific experience related to the position: Minimum of 2 years.

Additional/Specific Requirements:

• Proficiency in resolving complex technical issues involving software and hardware interfaces, and independently managing critical or complex situations.
• Sound comprehension of business processes.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while adhering to stringent deadlines.
