Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of general HR experience and a minimum of one year working in an international school. This role requires excellent organizational skills, knowledge of HR best practices, and the ability to support various HR functions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interview coordination, and new hire documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with school policies and labor laws.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying attendance records.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, leave requests, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and facilitate HR training sessions and workshops for staff.
- Handle employee relations, addressing concerns and escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and school policies.
- Support HR administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, drafting letters, and maintaining HR databases.
- Assist in organizing staff engagement activities and welfare programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of general HR experience, with at least 1 year in an international school setting.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Experience using HRIS software is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Candidate:
- Male candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with international school HR operations is a plus
