Head Waiter at Bible Translation and Literacy

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Professionally involved in the actual order-taking and service of the food and beverage products and services.
• Supervises and supports the restaurant service team during meal periods and functions.
• Ensures high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and staff presentation.
• Trains, schedules, and evaluates the restaurant staff.
• Liaises with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food service operations.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper arrangement of the restaurant at all times.
• Handles guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Monitors inventory levels of restaurant supplies and assists with ordering as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Food and Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant or hotel service.
• Knowledge in using the Restaurant POS system.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
