About the Role

Emerge Egress Consulting is recruiting 2 Front Desk Agents to join a well-established hospitality operation in Kenya. This is a full-time position that serves as the primary interface between the establishment and its guests. As a Front Desk Agent (2) Hospitality at Emerge Egress Consulting, you will manage all aspects of guest reception, from initial greeting through departure, while maintaining the operational standards that define quality hospitality service.

The role demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments. Your responsibilities will span guest communication, administrative documentation, and facility coordination. This position sits at the heart of daily front office operations and directly influences guest satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and departure with professional courtesy and genuine warmth
  • Respond to guest questions, complaints, and service requests with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage incoming and outgoing front office communications including telephone calls, email correspondence, and in-person enquiries
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, house policies, and available services to guests
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and other departments to ensure continuity of guest experience
  • Update and maintain guest records, reservation data, and front office documentation
  • Arrange bookings for meeting spaces and coordinate facility reservations for clients
  • Keep the reception area clean, organised, and visually appealing throughout operating hours
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the front office team

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management, Front Office Operations, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in a front desk or similar guest-facing hospitality role
  • Competence with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Background in the hospitality sector is highly valued

  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and guest handling proficiency
