About The Role

  • As the Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager at Rescue.co, you will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You will oversee all financial planning and analysis activities and support decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, an eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Responsibilities

Financial Management:

  • Lead the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Develop and implement robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior management
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

Payroll Management:

  • Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to all employees
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Manage relationships with payroll service providers and ensure seamless integration with accounting systems
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

Collaboration and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
  • Ensure the timely completion of annual audits in an efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial performance and support strategic objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a CPA or CFA certification is preferred
  • Extensive experience in financial management, with a focus on financial planning and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
