About the Role

Regen Organics is seeking Process Design / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering Fellows to work under the guidance of a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles and techniques to optimize production processes within a manufacturing environment, aligning them with the organization’s objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  1. Developing equipment specification sheets for internal design and engaging with vendors.
  2. Creating mechanical drawings for various equipment.
  3. Shortlisting potential vendors and requesting designs for quotation.
  4. Assisting senior engineers in conducting detailed bid analysis.
  5. Organizing, monitoring, and analyzing results for design validation field trials.
  6. Contributing to reviews aimed at optimizing operational processes.
  7. Participating in the review of vendor documentation and other discipline-related documents.
  8. Collaborating with other disciplines and vendors to ensure the accuracy of designs.
  9. Crafting operating guidelines and procedures for start-up and commissioning.
  10. Working with the construction team to provide support during field installation and commissioning efforts.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A strong grasp of engineering concepts, particularly in fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to efficiently analyze data related to processing systems.
  • The capacity to think creatively and identify engineering solutions that are safe, practical, reliable, and cost-effective.
  • A commitment to learning and a willingness to develop your engineering expertise under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • The ability to integrate stakeholder requirements into comprehensive engineering designs.
  • The capability to translate insights gained from fieldwork into actionable designs and processes.
  • A proactive attitude, with a readiness to engage and learn through hands-on experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
