About the Role

Kenchic Limited is recruiting a Data Analyst-In-House And Contract Broiler Operations to support decision-making across its broiler farming operations in Nairobi. This is a full-time position where you will translate operational data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and performance. The successful candidate will work with both in-house and contract farming units, providing the analytical foundation that enables management to identify trends, optimise processes, and respond to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse operational performance data from in-house and contract broiler units to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and dashboards that summarise key metrics for management review
• Support planning and budgeting cycles by providing historical data analysis and performance forecasts
• Extract and validate data from the ERP system to ensure accuracy of reporting and analysis
• Identify discrepancies and anomalies in operational records and work with department heads to resolve them
• Create ad-hoc analyses in response to specific business questions or emerging operational issues
• Maintain data integrity and document methodologies used in analysis for consistency and audit purposes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a closely related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an analytics or planning role
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and business reporting
• Competency in MS Word and MS PowerPoint for documentation and stakeholder communication
• Experience working with ERP systems is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to dig beyond surface-level data interpretation
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver work on schedule in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
