About the Role
ATL Global Business, a privately established recruitment and consultancy firm based in Kenya with operations across South Africa and the East African region, is hiring for two full-time positions in Mombasa. Both roles sit within the customer service and hospitality sector, requiring candidates who can deliver professional guest support and coordinate travel experiences. This Ongoing Recruitment at ATL Global Business encompasses two distinct positions: a Customer Service Representative and a Resort Representative. Both roles report to the Resident Manager and form part of the operations team responsible for managing guest journeys from arrival through departure. The successful candidates will be based in Mombasa and expected to work full time, including shifts and irregular hours as required.
Open Positions
Customer Service Representative
- Greet and support clients at airports, SGR terminals, and hotel locations throughout their arrival and stay.
- Conduct orientation briefings with guests, providing detailed information on itineraries, accommodation details, and travel logistics.
- Process guest documentation, manage tickets, and prepare travel materials before and during client stays.
- Respond to guest complaints, handle lost baggage cases, and resolve operational issues with professionalism.
- Record daily operational reports covering arrivals, departures, incidents, and guest feedback.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure procedural changes are communicated and implemented.
Resort Representative
- Welcome arriving guests with informative briefings and maintain liaison throughout their stay at the resort.
- Address all guest queries, requests, and complaints as the primary contact point.
- Promote, coordinate, and arrange excursions, recreational activities, and tour experiences for guests.
- Maintain updated guest information boards and travel documentation throughout operational hours.
- Prepare incident and complaint reports as required by management.
- Develop working relationships with hotels, excursion providers, and service partners while monitoring local attractions and market developments.
General Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Customer Service, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service within the tourism or hospitality sector (Resort Representative role requires a minimum of 5 years with 2 years in a similar position).
- Mandatory language proficiency: fluency in English plus either German & Italian or French & German combinations.
- Demonstrated ability in communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal interactions.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and reliable computer literacy (Excel knowledge is advantageous; Tourplan experience is a bonus).
- Flexibility to work variable shifts and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- For Resort Representative: knowledge of Mombasa routes, hotels, and key attractions; well-groomed and confident demeanour; proven problem-solving and time management ability.
