Zuri Health is seeking a customer-focused and proactive Customer Care Agent to join its growing telemedicine team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will support patients, respond to inquiries, coordinate medical appointments, assist users on digital healthcare platforms and ensure a smooth customer experience across all communication channels.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in customer service, call centre operations, healthcare support, insurance, CRM systems or patient care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, live chat and social media platforms.

Assist patients with booking, rescheduling and cancelling medical appointments while ensuring accuracy and timely support.

Guide customers on how to use telemedicine services, digital healthcare platforms and related patient support tools.

Resolve customer complaints and concerns efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Escalate complex medical, technical or service-related issues to the appropriate departments for further support.

Maintain accurate customer records and update patient information in the CRM system.

Follow up with patients to ensure continuity of care, service satisfaction and proper issue resolution.

Support customer retention initiatives and promote available healthcare services where appropriate.

Adhere to company policies, data privacy regulations and confidentiality requirements when handling customer information.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Customer Service, Business Administration, Communication, Healthcare Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, call centre operations, healthcare, insurance or a related role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and active listening skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Experience in telemedicine, healthcare or health insurance will be an added advantage.
