Responsibilities:
Caregiving Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities to promote mental and physical well-being.
- Monitor and record the client’s health condition and report any changes to the healthcare provider or family members.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments and transportation.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Help clients with mobility and provide support with exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean-living environment for the clients.
Housekeeping Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas.
- Change bed linens, wash and fold laundry, and iron clothing and linens.
- Organize and maintain household supplies, ensuring an orderly home environment.
- Cooking and meal preparation.
Qualifications:
- Certification in caregiving or a related field.
- Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform caregiving and housekeeping tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
