Responsibilities:

Caregiving Duties:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Monitor and record the client’s health condition and report any changes to the healthcare provider or family members.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments and transportation.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Help clients with mobility and provide support with exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean-living environment for the clients.

Housekeeping Duties:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas.
  • Change bed linens, wash and fold laundry, and iron clothing and linens.
  • Organize and maintain household supplies, ensuring an orderly home environment.
  • Cooking and meal preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in caregiving or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform caregiving and housekeeping tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
